I developed the full branding and marketing for Vickers Mews — a new residential development in St Albans, located on the historic site once home to the Vickers Armstrong flotation tank, a pioneering facility for naval and maritime engineering tests. The brand nods to this heritage through subtle visual cues while embracing a contemporary tone suited to modern living.
Collaborating with a Kent-based property agency, I created a cohesive suite of materials including the logo, brochure, website, and site signage. The new design direction introduces a refined serif logo paired with elegant script detailing, reflecting both the craftsmanship of the development and its maritime legacy. A deep, muted blue palette reinforces the connection to water, adding depth and calm throughout the visual identity.
The brochure and marketing materials use considered typography, architectural photography, and a structured layout to present the homes with clarity and sophistication. The website carries this aesthetic into the digital space, creating a seamless experience that feels confident, timeless, and inviting.
The result is a cohesive brand identity and marketing suite that honours the site’s history while positioning Vickers Mews as a distinctive and desirable place to live within St Albans’ thriving property market.
